Get ready for Runescape 2007 Deadman Season 6

The list of changes that were made for the Runescape 2007 Deadman season 6. Combat, Barrows equipment, first week quests and the death penalty have been modified.

Runescape 2007 Deadman Seasons 6 comes not only with a new challenge but also with some changes. One of the most important change affects the consequences of attacking other players. Players will be getting a skull when they attack another player that was already marked with a skull. They will have a skull on them for five minutes. It’s important to note that the skull debuff can be extended or can remain the same. If the skull debuff period is shorter than five minutes, it will be replenished to five. If it is higher than five, it will not be changed. Players now have a one minute period in which they cannot be attacked. This buff is gained in case of a reasonable kill. This means killing a player whose combat level is within a margin of 30. Players get this buff if they kill a player with a higher combat level, however, the buff is lost if the player dies, engages in PvP with another player or logs out of the game.

It’s not possible to use the protect from magic prayer to reduce the uptime of bind, entangle and snare spells to half of their normal duration. The Barrows mini game is no longer part of the competition. Developers took this decision to remove it as players complained that it offers an unfair edge to those with better equipment but lower skills. An older feature, the six hours immunity, is making a comeback. Players who join the competition after the first week will enjoy six hours of immunity. There are some changes regarding quests as well. After one week, all quests are marked as completed but players are not given the quests rewards. They just unlock the content. Players can normally complete the quests and get the rewards if they do this in the first week.

The death penalty is also changed. Players without a skull don’t lose XP anymore. XP is also gained faster and there’s a daily XP combat cap of one million. Players cannot receive loot from thieving NPCs in zones marked as safe. Kalphites are not part of the slayer assignment given by Turael anymore. Castle of Great Kourend was transformed into a safe area that is now defended.
