FIFA 19 Triumphs on Black Friday: the Most Sold in the UK

Good news for Electronic Arts, that unlike in the United States, where during the Black Friday were Pokémon Let’s Go and God of War the two best-selling video games, in the United Kingdom it has been their football delivery this season that has taken that privilege: FIFA 19.

The remarkable thing is not only that it was the option most chosen by the players of the United Kingdom, which has been normal since last September, but in just these last seven days more than 1.66 million have been sold physical units. Of course, as they indicate, it is 6.7% less than a year ago, but also in a certain that the digital trend is greater than ever, so it is difficult to assess in a tangible way if FIFA 19 has done better or worse than FIFA 18 in the same period of time.

The one that has improved greatly is Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which improves with a chilling 360% compared to the delivery of a year ago, WWII. On the other hand, the third place is left by Rockstar with Red Dead Redemption 2 – he knows everything about Red Dead Online here -, which apparently the bundles and the promotions have served so that he does not fall behind the top-3 despite the Strong competition from other multiplatform titles.

If we stick to exclusive, the two best-selling works have been Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4) and Pokémon Let’s Go (Nintendo Switch). All in all, the Black Friday of 2018 has been positive in the British Isles, although 4.6% worse than in 2017 in terms of benefits; in net sales it has decreased by 6.7%.
