There has never been a better time to be a Final Fantasy XIV player. The upcoming expansion was revealed. Endwalker is set to arrive this fall. It will bring more content to this awesome MMORPG. But, fall is many months away and there are still plenty of things to do in Shadowbringers. One of them is to celebrate seasonal events. Valentione’s Day is the in-game version of Valentine’s Day. It’s a celebration of love. Eorzean adventurers are invited to forget about raids and PvP for a little bit and simply have fun with some casual quests. Eorzean adventurers that are at least level 15 and have completed the envoy quest, that is. Head to Old Gridania and look for the event NPC, Lisette de Valentione. You’ll meet the most adorable Moogle and travel to Middle La Noscea to unravel a mystery about a letter destined to you. The quest will then take you to the East Shroud. Little Ladies’ Day is a remake of the Japanese holiday, Hinamatsuri. This event is dedicated to female children. The in-game event is based on the legend of the Lost Lady. The two in-game celebrations go hand in hand. You will receive the Little Ladies Day seasonal quest from the NPC you’ve met during the Valentione’s Day quest. You will travel to New Gridania and then to Ul’dah. You will embark on a tour through the first Final Fantasy XIV zones for these two quests. This is your chance to admire the seasonal decorations and see how the inhabitants of the three main cities are celebrating these holidays.
The seasonal quests will put a smile on your face. The rewards include the cosmetic headpiece, Lovely Moogle Cap. Don’t forget that you can speak to the maid of House Valentione and acquire the Kupka Kupp housing item. The NPC also sells prismatic hearts. If you have missed past years’ items, this is your chance to acquire them, as long as you have completed the seasonal quests. The Recompense Officer NPC sells event items from last years’ celebrations. Details about the new Final Fantasy XIV patch have been released. Patch 5.5 will arrive in two parts. The first one will go live on April 13th, while the second one will arrive towards the end of May.
